Quest for Improvement - Kate

I see many artists I know are joining project. And I also think its a great idea so I decided to do my Quest for Improvement too. Being Kate my char of choice.

I have many old characters but i decided to use her because she's the very first anthro character I created so lee how it all begun!

- 1997.
The year it all started. At this point I had some chars already (my dragons for example) but I came up with Kate. As you can see its a very primitive one. I had very lil anatomy skills. And God... the breasts of my female chars were like inflated balloons!
I didnt have a PC by then so all was colored with pencils.

- 1999.
I kept drawin her for those years but by 1999 she looked diferent and much better than the very first one. this year was the last one I used real media for the coloring. Back then. I Kate was some kind of ninja girl. Thats why she wears that costume.

- 2001.
By that year I had made the jump to digital coloring. but the main change was that I started using a more manga/anime look on my chars

- 2002 to 2006
The changes here are less big im my oppinion. Just the normal learning and improvemnt line both with the drawing and colorong skills. Trough the years kate evolved to be more a samurai kitty and thats what she is today. Also the voluptiness were decresing as the years passed. Now shes a more conservative girl instead of the exotic ones I draw oftem.

And i like her that way. :3
